Aldermen Michael J. Murphy and Jim Bohl invite residents to the Annual Meeting of the Capitol West Neighborhood Association at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church Hall, 8444 W. Melvina St (one block south of Capitol Dr. and 84th St.).
The meeting will feature a town hall format in which Northwest-side elected officials, including Milwaukee County supervisors, Milwaukee Public School Board directors, and Aldermen Murphy and Bohl, will be available to meet residents and discuss their concerns or suggestions. At one point in the evening, the CWNA will hold its brief annual meeting, presenting annual reports, electing officers and discussing several changes to the CWNA’s bylaws.
The annual meeting is not only a great opportunity to meet face-to-face with local officials, but also with other Capitol West neighbors. Attendees can mingle with friends and neighbors over coffee and snacks, and learn about CWNA activities and opportunities for involvement.
