County Executive Chris Abele’s Statement on the Passage of the Milwaukee County Reform Bill
The full Assembly is expected to take up the reform bill next week.
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele applauds the Assembly Committee on Government Operations and State Licensing’s 6-3 vote today to approve the bipartisan Milwaukee County reform bill.
“I applaud the committee for passing this important piece of legislation. In nine hours of testimony yesterday they asked good and thoughtful questions. As always, I look forward to answering any other questions lawmakers have about this important issue.”
The full Assembly is expected to take up the reform bill next week.
