Citizen Action of Wisconsin Endorses Senator Chris Larson for Milwaukee County Executive

Milwaukee, WI – Citizen Action of Wisconsin endorsed State Senator Chris Larson today in his bid for Milwaukee County Executive.

Citizen Action of Wisconsin is an issue focused coalition of individuals and organizations committed to achieving social, economic, and environmental justice. Citizen Action of Wisconsin organizes people to make Wisconsin a better place to live and work. Every year, Citizen Action generates hundreds of media stories, mobilizes thousands of citizens to participate in political advocacy, and engages hundreds of thousands of voters.

Robert Craig, Executive Director of Citizen Action of WI, stated, “In the hotly contested Milwaukee County Executive race, Citizen Action members and board leaders decided that Senator Larson, who is a Citizen Action member, made the strongest and most comprehensive case for bold reform of county government. Larson would be the first progressive Milwaukee County Executive in modern history. Chris Larson is the State Senator for Wisconsin’s 7th District and former Milwaukee County Supervisor. Larson grew up in Greenfield and is a life-long resident of Milwaukee County. Larson is running for Milwaukee County Executive to build a county where every Milwaukeean can thrive.
