Café Corazón to buy Milwaukeeans their first House Margarita during a special 414 Day happy hour starting at 4:14 p.m. on April 14

Milwaukeeans can score their first house margarita, like this one served by Café Corazón General Manager Mario DeCicco, for free during a special Milwaukee Day happy hour from 4:14 – 5:15 p.m. on 4.14 Day, Monday, April 14. Photo courtesy of Café Corazón.
Step aside BOGOs and $4.14 prices. Café Corazón will honor Milwaukee and celebrate its 15th anniversary when Corazón Husband-and-Wife Co-Founders George and Wendy Mireles offer free house margaritas* this April 14.
“This is our small way of saying ‘thank you’ to Milwaukee,” Wendy Mireles said. “We never set out to have three locations and a food truck when we opened our original Café Corazón in Riverwest 15 years ago. Our fans are why we’ve been so successful, and we want to show them a little gratitude by giving everyone their first house margarita on us Monday, April 14.”
The special 4.14 Day happy hour will be from 4:14 – 5:15 p.m. on the 14th at all three Café Corazón locations: Bay View (2394 S Kinnickinnic Ave.), Brown Deer (4102 W. Bradley Rd.), and the original Riverwest restaurant (3129 N. Bremen St.).
More Ways to Celebrate Café Corazón’s 15th Anniversary
In addition to free house margaritas on April 14, the Mireles – to celebrate their 15 years in business — are launching a year-long effort to deliver complimentary guacamole, chips, and their famed spicy salsa verde to the workplace breakrooms of 15 Milwaukee-area companies, nonprofits or organizations.
“We can’t thank Milwaukee and our Café Corazón team enough,” said George Mireles. “Growing up, I learned that the best way to say ‘thank you’ was to give something back. That’s why we created Operation Breakroom to feed Milwaukeeans at work and those in need.”
A Humbling Honor: The Best Mexican Restaurant in Wisconsin
The Mireles have even more to be grateful for as the International website loveFOOD.com recently named Café Corazón the best Wisconsin Mexican Restaurant in the site’s ranking of the top taquerias and cantinas in each of the 50 states and DC.
About Café Corazón

The entire team at Café Corazón is committed to serving the freshest local fare for both meat eaters and vegan/vegetarians alike. Along with its three locations, Café Corazón also has a food truck that caters Corazón favorites at company outings, community events, and weddings.
