Milwaukee – Local First Milwaukee is excited to announce the Grow Local Business Expo, which will take place on Tuesday, March 1 from 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at Best Place at Historic Pabst Brewery. Participants will receive advice on how to boost their business’ revenue and support the local economy by hiring talent and sourcing business products and services locally.
Data from the Civic Economics Survey of Independent Businesses shows that in Milwaukee, independently owned, local businesses are reinvesting 44¢ of every dollar they earn into the local economy, compared to only 14¢ on the dollar from national chains. Local First Milwaukee encourages businesses in our region to send a representative to the Grow Local Business Expo to see how they can shift a portion of spending to local vendors.
Tom Palzewicz, Managing Partner at ActionCOACH, will present the lunch keynote, Grow More Green in 2016. Event sponsors, including, Alliance Tax & Accounting Service, Audio Visual of Milwaukee, The Equitable Bank, von Briesen & Roper, and Walcheske & Luzi will lead additional breakout sessions throughout the afternoon. Vendors will showcase products and services ranging from tax preparation to marketing and more. The day will close with a happy hour networking session from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
