Milwaukee Police Investigate Fatal Crash at West Locust Street Intersection
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at approximately 2:15 a.m., on the 2000 block of West Locust Street. Vehicle 1 was traveling westbound, and stopped at a red stoplight. When the light turned green, the driver began to travel through the intersection. Vehicle 2 then entered the intersection, against a red light, striking vehicle 1. The driver of vehicle 1, a 25 year old, was conveyed to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver and passenger of vehicle 2 were also conveyed to a local hospital. The driver of vehicle 2 (22 years old) was pronounced deceased upon arrival at the hospital, and the passenger of vehicle 2 (23 years old) was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
