The Milwaukee Bucks open the 2016-17 season next Wednesday, but before the ball goes up to begin the season the team is once again celebrating Tipoff Week featuring a full slate activities and community events. Tipoff Week will officially begin with the “2 for 2” Palermo’s On Pack Launch Party this Friday, Oct. 21, and continue through the Bucks’ Opening Night matchup with Charlotte on Oct. 26.

At Friday’s event, the Bucks, Palermo’s Pizza and Pick ‘n Save will be inviting fans to celebrate the launch of a special “2-for-2” ticket promotion. Beginning Friday and continuing through Jan. 31, Bucks fans who purchase two specially-marked Palermo’s Primo Thin or Pizzeria pizzas will also receive two tickets to a select Milwaukee Bucks regular season home game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

To celebrate the launch of this great new promotion, the Bucks and Palermo’s will be taking over the Pick ‘n Save store at 250 W. Holt Ave. in Milwaukee from 5:30-7 p.m. on Friday. Bucks players Jabari Parker and Giannis Antetokounmpo will be on hand to sign autographs, while mascot Bango, DJ O, the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers, Hoop Troop, and the Rim Rockers will be there to perform and mingle with the crowd. Palermo’s will also have a trailer set up outside the store for free pizza samples, special offers for those who sign up to be a La Famiglia member, along with plenty of interactive games for fans in attendance to enjoy.

“The Bucks and our wonderful partners at Palermo’s are thrilled to offer this unique ‘2-for-2’ promotion to all of our great fans,” said Matt Pazaras, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for the Bucks. “Bucks basketball and delicious Palermo’s pizza are a natural fit, and this simple, easy promotion is a win-win for any Bucks fan.”

Friday’s event is just the beginning of Tipoff Week, with more great events planned in the days leading up to Opening Night. Next week’s events are highlighted by a full-team community event on Monday in which Bucks players will be renovating basketball courts in neighborhood parks throughout the city. More details on this event will be announced tomorrow.

Additionally, Bango will be visiting Wendy’s and Blaze Pizza locations on Monday and Tuesday to hand out Opening Night tickets, with more Bucks community events slated for Tuesday and Thursday.
