Bublr Bikes Celebrates 10 Years of Exploring Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE – Bublr Bikes, Milwaukee’s nonprofit bikeshare system, is celebrating “10 years of exploring Milwaukee” at this year’s annual Bublr Bash. The event will take place on September 14th from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Discovery World, located at 500 N Harbor Drive. The Bublr Bash is Bublr’s annual fundraising gala that supports Bublr’s initiatives to deliver a sustainable, excellent bikeshare system for all.
The Bublr Bash helps to ensure that Bublr can continue providing a world-class bikeshare system while providing community programming such as: the B3 Workforce Development Program and Savvy Cycling Classes. Additionally, this fundraiser helps fund Bublr’s free Access Passes to income qualified residents of Milwaukee County and Bublr’s specialty adaptive bikes integrated right into our system. Bublr does all this while making a cleaner environment for everyone by reducing car trips and maintaining sustainable business practices.
What does Bublr mean to our riders? Why not hear it from them directly:
“Bublr means freedom to explore and love my city without anything holding me back.” – Storm G.
“The Access Pass means everything. I LOVE bicycle riding, however, I haven’t been able to do it for years. For health and happiness, I love to be able to ride again, especially now at age 70.” – Mary O.
Join Bublr for a night of live entertainment, food, and prizes as the community toasts to 10 years of servicing the Greater Milwaukee area.
