Black History Month Power Hour networking event to close out February
To close out Black History Month, Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs, Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II, Alderman Khalif J. Rainey and Alderman Mark Chambers, Jr. will host the Black History Month Power Hour networking event on Tuesday, February 28 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall rotunda, 200 E. Wells St.
The inaugural networking event will provide an opportunity for young professionals to come together to network, make connections, and build relationships to strengthen our community. The event is free and open to the public and no RSVP is required. Light refreshments will be provided.“At its core, Black History Month is a time to learn, reflect, grow, and ultimately improve ourselves and our community. We hope members of the public join us at this networking event to discuss ideas and thoughts about ways we can better Milwaukee, while meeting new people and fostering new relationships,” said the Alders.
The event is sponsored by the City of Milwaukee, Alderwoman Coggs, Alderman Rainey, Alderman Stamper, Alderman Chambers, Summerfest and the Milwaukee Kitchen Cabinet.
