BelAir Cantina – Brookfield Raises More Than $15,000 for Local Charity
During the grand opening event held the weekend of April 16 -18, BelAir Cantina served more than 2,500 guests.
MILWAUKEE – BelAir Cantina, a Mexican-fusion restaurant famous for its tacos, tequila and fresh ingredients, announced today that during its grand opening for its new location at The Corners of Brookfield (250 High Street), the restaurant raised $15,463.55 for the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for The Arts, a local nonprofit multi-disciplinary cultural arts center.
During the grand opening event held the weekend of April 16 -18, BelAir Cantina served more than 2,500 guests and donated 50 percent of all food sales to the Wilson Center.
The Wilson Center works to be the catalyst for lifelong discovery and exploration of the arts. Since opening their doors in 2002, more than 550,000 lives have been enriched through the Wilson Center’s performances, festivals, exhibits, classes, and workshops-including the lives of more than 9,000 children and youth served every year through their arts education programming.
This is the fifth location for BelAir Cantina in the greater Milwaukee area with a sixth restaurant opening in Madison this summer. BelAir is part of Toro, Toro, Toro, a restaurant group owned by Wisconsin natives Leslie Montemurro, Kristyn Eitel and Scott Johnson.
“When we open new locations, we always look to partner with local organizations that are doing something good for their community. It was great to work with an organization like the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center and we are excited to continue the partnership by offering BelAir menu items during their summer concert series, Starry Nights,” Montemurro said. “We were thrilled with The Corners’ commitment to offering local restaurant options to its shoppers and the response from patrons at this location has been fantastic!”
The new location includes an area for outdoor seating, a fun and relaxed environment with a California-inspired décor and menu. The restaurant is open during the weekdays from 11 a.m. – bar close and on weekends from 10 a.m. – bar close, with brunch served on the weekends. There is a happy hour daily Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
