Acts From Across the Globe Announced for Summerfest Emerging Artist Series at Johnson Controls World Sound Stage

Artists from New Zealand, Germany, Spain, India, Canada, and More

MILWAUKEE (May 28, 2019) – Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance welcomes back the Emerging Artists Series at the Johnson Controls World Sound Stage with 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, which highlights emerging talent. Local, regional, national and international artists will be featured each evening of Summerfest.  Many have gone on to become nationally and internationally known, including WALK THE MOON, Nathaniel Rateliff, Maren Morris, X Ambassadors, BØRNS, The Record Company and many others.

In addition, each evening via a Twitter poll, fans can vote for their favorite performance. The band with the most votes each day will receive an “Emerging Artist Series Care Package” that includes nearly $3,000 in gear and merchandise from major manufacturers including:  Best-Tronics, Pro Audio, Gretsch Drums, Hal Leonard Corporation, Martin Guitars, Morely Pedals, Orange Amplification, Sennheiser Microphones & Headphones, Zildjian Cymbals, and others, as well as valuable services from Planetary Group.
