Milwaukee Police Investigate Separate Overnight Shootings; One Fatal, One Non-Fatal

Incident 1
Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday, September 27, 2026, at approximately 3:20 a.m., in the 3100 block of N. 42 Place. The victim, a 34-year-old, sustained injuries from gunshots and died on scene. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek an unknown suspect.

Incident 2
Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred Sunday, September 27, 2026, at approximately 3:52 a.m., in the 2900 block of N. 50 Street . The victim, a 15-year-old, sustained injury from a gunshot and arrived at a local hospital for treatment. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek an unknown suspect.
