A Loss to the Danceworks Community
Dear Danceworks family and friends,
We are deeply saddened by the passing of founding Danceworker, Amy Brinkman-Sustache, who contributed immensely to Danceworks for over 30 years. We are mourning the loss of a remarkable visionary leader, teacher, artist, and friend. Amy enriched countless lives through her steadfast commitment to Danceworks and her deep compassion for others. Amy’s legacy will live on through the foundation she built for us as we carry forward the mission of Danceworks. She will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time. Out of respect for their privacy, we kindly ask for understanding and space as they grieve this loss privately.
Memorial Service Information:
Services will be held on August 22nd, 2024 at 5:00pm followed by a legacy memorial in tribute to Amy.

Thank you for taking a moment to read and remember Amy. She inspired each of us to grow as artists and as people through her love of dance. We will continue to honor Amy’s legacy and contributions to dance in Milwaukee.
