2019 Frank P. Zeidler Legacy Breakfast Honors Reggie Jackson, Recognizes Facilitators of the Year

[MILWAUKEE, WI September 12, 2019] Start your day on Thursday November 21st with a celebration in support of an important cause! Join community, civic and business leaders who are passionate about bringing diverse people together to discuss issues of vital importance at the second annual Frank P. Zeidler Legacy Breakfast supporting the Zeidler Center for Public Discussion.
Reggie Jackson, a Milwaukee native and nationally recognized, award-winning author, journalist, speaker and educator, has been named the 2019 Frank P. Zeidler Honoree for his exceptional ability to foster community dialogue on challenging and vital issues. In his work Mr. Jackson bridges the racial divides that impact Wisconsin and the nation through his brilliant presentations, writings and facilitation.
Mike Gousha, the Milwaukee television news icon, will facilitate a keynote dialogue with Reggie on the power of civility, dialogue across differences, building trust and bridging communities. Learn about the methods that transform vital issues around injustice and conflict into productive civil discourse.
The 2019 Frank P. Zeidler Legacy Breakfast will also recognize the Zeidler Center’s Facilitator of the Year, Sharon McMurray, and Youth Facilitators of the Year, Ariana Beauchamp and Myles Petty, who will join Mr. Gousha on stage to talk about what it’s like to facilitate Milwaukee police and youth dialogues.
