Official Biography Eyon Biddle’s close ties to the 15th district began in childhood where he grew up in his family church, Rehoboth Miracle Temple COGIC.  He first learned about community organizing at Rehoboth, participating in youth programs, developing mentoring projects and learning at the side of his parents Herman and Twyla Carnie and his grandmother, Evangelist Barbara Biddle. Biddle is a proud graduate of Milwaukee Public Schools, attending Garden Homes Elementary, Hartford Avenue Elementary and Rufus King High School.  He also attended Marquette University, where he majored in Psychology and met his wife, Corry Joe Biddle.  He is the proud father of three beautiful children, Maya, Eyon, Jr. and Asha. Biddle’s priorities have focused on bold tangible solutions for the literary of problems facing Milwaukee. He has been the lead sponsor of numerous legislative priorities from job creation and economic development initiatives, public transportation, public safety, and environmental protection of our public parks.  As a County Supervisor, Eyon served as a full-time, accessible, honest representative for his community. Prior to his service on the County Board, Supervisor Biddle was the executive political director for Service Employees International Union (SEIU), overseeing the legislative agenda for eight locals representing over 18,000 members.  His experience includes working with legislators at all levels of government with the purpose of protecting and creating family supporting jobs. Prior to joining SEIU, Eyon worked for two local nonprofit, service organizations – New Concept Self Development Center and Running Rebels Community Organization.  Cultivating a passion for advocacy and public service, he spent his time at these agencies as a mentor/counselor helping young people realize their potential and become responsible young adults. Furthering his commitment to community building and social and economic justice, Biddle serves on a number of Boards.  He is the President of True Skool, Chair of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, an Executive Board Member for the Milwaukee Area Labor Council and a Board Member for Fair-Equality Wisconsin. Biddle recognizes that status quo politics needs to come to an end and vows to bring courageous, bold, and progressive leadership to Milwaukee.  He will continue to be a champion for everyday people, fighting vigilantly for equal rights, and economic/social justice.  He believes in Milwaukee’s potential to be a great city and understands that we must eradicate poverty, and uplift the people in our communities to reach that mountaintop of greatness.
