Discovering Lincoln Park History with John Gurda

Friends of Lincoln Park is hosting a presentation by Milwaukee historian and writer John Gurda for its annual membership meeting on Tuesday March 14th. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the park’s Blatz Pavilion at 1301 W. Hampton Ave. Gurda is the author of Milwaukee: City of Neighborhoods and The Making of Milwaukee. He is also known for hosting local history programs on Milwaukee Public Television including Milwaukee: A City Built on Water. His topic, Discovering and Celebrating Lincoln Park History will kick off a local history project by Friends of Lincoln Park.
