Join the Latino Arts Gallery’s Managing Artistic Director, Jacobo Lovo, for a gallery tour and discussion surrounding the gallery’s current art exhibit: “Mama Said: A Reflection on Maternal Figures.” Enjoy learning more about the art, the inspiration and symbolism behind it, and the unique techniques utilized in each exhibition featured in the Latino Arts Gallery!

This exhibition is composed of artists and friends of Latino Arts. It reflects on artist relationships with individuals that have played a maternal figure role in their lives. This visual reflection focuses on the stories of these relationships and the lessons learned whether they be positive or negative, verbal or nonverbal.

There will be two tours: one in English and one in Spanish. The English tour will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the Spanish tour will begin at 9:30 a.m.
