Milwaukee, WI – Bublr Bikes, the non-profit bikeshare operator for the greater Milwaukee area, is thrilled to announce the 2026 Bublr Bash on Saturday, September 12: a free-to-attend community block party open to all.

This year’s event will take place from 1:00 – 6:00 PM at Bublr Bikes’ headquarters, 811 E. Vienna Ave., in Milwaukee’s Riverwest neighborhood. Emceed by Milwaukee talent Vincent Van Great and featuring live music, food trucks, and a variety of Bublr-themed activities, games, and prizes, the 2026 Bublr Bash will also highlight local nonprofits and vendors, offering a unique afternoon of community fun.

“We invite the community to join us in celebrating our riders and friends throughout the greater Milwaukee area,” said Ted Chisholm, Bublr Bikes’ executive director. “This year’s Bublr Bash will offer fun activities for the whole family. We are particularly excited to offer a behind-the-scenes look at our workshop and operations, highlighting the teamwork and community partnerships that make an affordable and accessible bikeshare system possible.”

“Bublr Bikes is Milwaukee,” said recording artist, music producer, and Bublr Bikes Ambassador Vincent Van Great. “I’ve been proud to represent and support Bublr for years because I believe in what they’re doing for our city and our communities. I’m excited to bring that same energy to the mic as MC of this year’s Bublr Bash and celebrate another year of people moving Milwaukee forward.”

The theme of this year’s rider and supporter party is “A Peek Behind the Scenes.” Bublr’s dedicated team will be on hand to offer the public a glimpse at Bublr’s shop, where all the magic and hustle take place, and to offer free bicycle check-ups and tune-ups. Attendees can expect Bublr shop tours, Bublr-themed contests and games, raffle prizes, food trucks, local vendors and partner groups, and live music from Shuga Blu Band and Monica Clare Murphy. Bash attendees looking for refreshment can visit Gathering Place Brewing Company, located in the same building as Bublr Bikes, to purchase beer.

This year’s Bash is a free-to-attend event, but donations to the non-profit organization are always gratefully accepted, and opportunities to sponsor the event are available. $20 paid tickets are available, which comes with a thank-you Bublr merch pack!

Free or paid RSVPs, sponsorship info, and all the details are at www.bublrbikes.org/bash. We can’t wait to see you there!
