Oak Creek Farmers Market to Open for the 2026 Season Saturday, May 2
New season brings an enhanced market experience with brunch offerings and branded merchandise.
Oak Creek, Wis – April 29, 2026 – The Oak Creek Farmers Market opens for the 2026 season this Saturday, May 2, marking its ninth year at Drexel Town Square (361 W Town Square Way). Opening Day is proudly sponsored by Carpetland USA.
This season’s market will feature more than 100 rotating vendors, ensuring an ever‑changing lineup of farm‑fresh produce, baked goods, specialty foods, artisan products, handmade goods, and more. Shoppers can expect to find plenty of new and unique vendors, along with many familiar favorites.
Marketgoers will notice several changes this year. “We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes creating a strong 2026 season,” said Renee Wallace, Operations Manager for the Oak Creek Farmers Market. “We wanted to preserve the experience visitors have come to love, while fostering a more vibrant, community-focused event in the square.”
The market layout has been reimagined, with all vendor categories now integrated across the square to create a more cohesive shopping experience. For the first time, the market will also offer brunch options, with rotating food and drink trucks serving items for shoppers to enjoy as they explore. And in the coming weeks, shoppers will find the brand-new Oak Creek Farmers Market merchandise tent selling branded t-shirts, hoodies, and more.
This season also brings an expanded partnership with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 494 (IBEW) to increase access to healthy foods and help families relying on assistance programs stretch their benefits. The FoodShare programs have various start dates throughout the months of May and June.
Shoppers will continue to find other popular weekly features, including:
- Live music
- The Taste It Tent offering free samples of healthy foods
- The Sprouts Kids Activities providing free entertainment for kids of all ages
- Children ages 5-12 get a free $2 Kids Coin to do their own shopping for fresh foods
“There is truly something here for everyone to enjoy,” said Wallace. “Whether you’re grocery shopping with the family or looking to spend time with friends while sipping coffee and listening to live music, this is a special place where you can do it all, while directly supporting local farmers, vendors, and creators.”
The Oak Creek Farmers Market runs every Saturday (Except July 4) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from May 2, 2026, until October 24, 2026, in Drexel Town Square.
