Oak Creek Dog Days Returns July 18-19 with More Dogs, More Fun and a Full Weekend of Family-Friendly Activities

Popular community event brings two days of entertainment and plenty of tail-wagging fun to Drexel Town Square.

Oak Creek, Wis– July 10, 2026- Grab your leash, your dog, and enjoy one of Oak Creek’s most popular summer-time events. Dog Days is back this year in Drexel Town Square on Saturday, July 18, from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday, July 19, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., bringing together dog lovers from across southeastern Wisconsin.

Pet-owners can check out dozens of local vendors offering everything from pet products and treats to handmade goods.

Here is a list of just some of the activities you’ll find happening in the square:

  • Canine Einstein offers dog enrichment activities both Saturday and Sunday.
  • An obstacle course where pups can test their skills all weekend long.
  • Free caricatures and a complimentary photo booth you can take with your dogs, creating fun keepsakes you can take home.
  • Sunday at 10:30 a.m.: Watch the Oak Creek Police Department K-9 demonstration.
  • Sunday at 1:30 p.m.: Cheer on dogs of all shapes and sizes during the always popular Puppy Parade.
  • Sunday: Enjoy alternating hourly performances from Pier Pups’ dock diving demonstrations and the Barkbarians Flyball Team, keeping the action going throughout the day.

“Dog Days has become one of those events that people look forward to every summer,” said Event and Tourism Coordinator Alex Hayes. “Whether you’re bringing your own dog, looking for a fun family outing, or simply love watching incredible canine performances, there’s something here for everyone. We’re excited to welcome the community back for another great weekend at Drexel Town Square.”

Dog Days is free to attend so grab your furry friend and join the fun! Pet owners attending with dogs should keep them leashed, clean up after them and, most importantly, make sure they’re having fun!
