MLB Network to Announce Brewers Prospects Expected to Play in the 2026 Spring Breakout on March 20

MILWAUKEE – Major League Baseball today announced that rosters for 2026 Spring Breakout games will be revealed live on a special show on MLB Network on Thursday, March 5 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (CT). The show will be co-hosted by Matt Vasgersian and Harold Reynolds with MLB Pipeline’s Jim Callis and several of the top prospects selected to participate in the games appearing live on the show.

The Spring Breakout is a showcase of baseball’s future stars, as each Major League Club will field a team of top prospects to play a team of top prospects from another organization in an exhibition game. In total, 210 players who participated in the first two iterations of the Spring Breakout have gone on to play Major League Baseball.

Fans are encouraged to tune in for the roster reveal show to see which of the Brewers top prospects will be expected to participate in the Spring Breakout game on Friday, March 20 against the Seattle Mariners and Sunday, March 22 at the Athletics.

The Spring Breakout game will be carried live on MLB Network while fans in attendance at Spring Breakout games will have the opportunity to participate in a pregame autograph session (time to be announced at a later date). Fans can also tune in to MLB Network for the second Spring Breakout game on Sunday, March 22 when the Crew plays at the Athletics.

Three of the last four Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year Award winners have participated in Spring Breakout, including Pirates right-hander Paul Skenes, Athletics first baseman Nick Kurtz and Braves catcher Drake Baldwin. Other current young stars of MLB who participated in the first two Spring Breakouts are 2025 All-Stars James Wood of the Nationals, Junior Caminero of the Rays, and Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski and outfielder Jackson Chourio; Blue Jays’ 2025 Postseason standout pitcher Trey Yesavage; Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony; Orioles infielder Jackson Holliday; and Cardinals shortstop Masyn Winn.
