MILWAUKEE (Nov. 25, 2025) – Hoffman York (HY) is a full-service marketing agency located in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. It’s not the typical locale for tent pitching and team building, but that’s exactly what’s happening there. You can see evidence of this unique set up, called HY Brand Camp, just by peeking into the agency’s windows off Water Street. HY Brand Camp is a one-of-a-kind experience that offers real-time problem solving for real brand challenges. This is how it works:

  • Businesses of all sizes – from bold entrepreneurs to seasoned brands that want original, expert thinking – are encouraged to reach out with a challenge; if it’s a fit, HY will get the tent ready (literally).
  • Once a month a team of HY experts, or camp counselors, will host a business at a half-day working session in the agency’s Milwaukee office.
  • Sessions are an opportunity to share marketing challenges and possibilities in a safe, thoughtful environment. Past camp collaborations have answered questions, including:
    • How do we get content in front of our audiences?
    • What are some low-budget ideas to boost seasonal traffic?
    • How do we establish a presence in a new market?
  • Some businesses leave camp and share what they learned with their larger team, others leave camp and directly implement the ideas, and others don’t leave camp at all — they decide to work with HY as a client.
