New Growing Wisconsin Magazine Now Available

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has announced that the new edition of the Growing Wisconsin magazine is now available online and in print. The 2025-26 edition features farms and businesses that are part of the Something Special from Wisconsin™ program and those who offer agritourism opportunities.

“Wisconsin agribusinesses produce so many quality products that make our state unique, and we’re proud to spotlight Something Special from Wisconsin™,” said DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski. “Hundreds of Wisconsin businesses use the program’s trademarked red and yellow logo to distinguish their product or service in the consumer marketplace, and this edition of the magazine highlights some of their stories.”

For a business to qualify for the Something Special from Wisconsin™ program, at least 50 percent of their products’ ingredients, production, or processing must be from or completed in Wisconsin. To learn more about the program or to find member businesses and their products, visit somethingspecialwi.com.

This 12th edition of Growing Wisconsin emphasizes the diversity of Wisconsin’s agriculture industry. Articles include Wisconsin businesses specializing in honey, dairy, produce, meat, and Christmas trees. Additional articles distinguish innovative women-owned farms and farms with autumn agritourism offerings.

Farm Flavor Media, a marketing company and division of Journal Communications, generates the content, sells advertisements, and publishes Growing Wisconsin. No department funds are spent to create this magazine.

The magazine is available online at WIagriculture.com. To request printed copies of Growing Wisconsin to distribute at your business, organization, school, or office, email Ashley Andre, DATCP Policy Initiatives Advisor, at ashley.andre@wisconsin.gov.
