Double Shooting in Milwaukee: One Suspect Dead, Police Seek Additional Suspects in Separate Robbery Incidents
Milwaukee Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred on Friday, July 4, 2025, at approximately 11:13 a.m., in the 2600 block of W. Townsend Street. The armed suspects robbed the victim at which time gunfire was exchanged between the suspects and the victim, subsequently striking the victim and a suspect. The suspect, a21-year-old man, sustained fatal injuries. The victim, a 20-year-old, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. This incident will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for review. Milwaukee Police are seeking an additional unknown suspect.
