Giannis Antetokounmpo Named Eastern Conference Player Of The Week
MILWAUKEE (April 7, 2025) – Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for Week 24 (March 31-April 6), the NBA announced today. This is Antetokounmpo’s third Player of the Week honor this season and the 26th of his career.
Antetokounmpo is averaging 30.5 points (2nd in NBA), 11.9 rebounds (6th in NBA) and 6.3 assists per game this season while shooting 60.2% from the field (6th in NBA). He has scored 30+ points in each of his last seven games, matching the longest such streak in the NBA this season and the second-longest of his career, and he’s dished out 10+ assists in a career-high-tying three straight games. Helping the Bucks clinch their ninth consecutive playoff berth and post a 44-34 record overall this season, Antetokounmpo is on pace to tally the second season in NBA history with 30+ points on at least 60% shooting after he became the first player in league history to reach those figures in a season during the 2023-24 campaign.
