Milwaukee, March 27, 2025 — Festival City Symphony invites music lovers to experience the vibrant rhythms and melodies of Spain at their final Saturday Classics concert of the season, “Spanish Dreams and Dances,” on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Bradley Symphony Center, 212 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee. This free concert, part of the Saturday Classics series, promises to delight the senses with its showcase of lively Spanish-inspired works.

The program begins with Emmanuel Chabrier’s España Rhapsody, an exuberant piece that embodies the spirit of Spanish culture. Next, Maurice Ravel’s Alborada del Gracioso brings playful, intricate melodies to the stage. Then, Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol, a work known for its vivid portrayal of Spanish folk music, and Manuel de Falla’s Three-Cornered Hat Suite No. 2, will immerse listeners in the vibrant storytelling of traditional Spanish dances. The concert will close with Ravel’s Boléro, gradually building intensity with its iconic, unforgettable theme.

In addition to the musical performance, attendees can enjoy a pre-concert presentation, “Unlocking the Score,” at 1:30 PM. Led by music educator Lynn Roginske, this free talk will offer insights into the concert’s themes and help listeners deepen their understanding of the composers’ works.

Tickets for “Spanish Dreams and Dances” are available now, with admission free of charge and a suggested donation of $14 for adults and $8 for children, students, and seniors.
