Festival City Symphony Concludes 2025-2026 Season With Family-Friendly Pajama Jamboree Concert on April 29, 2026
MILWAUKEE, WI (April 14, 2026) — Festival City Symphony will close its 2025–2026 concert season with a lively and family-friendly performance on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Bradley Pavilion of the Marcus Performing Arts Center (929 N Water St., Milwaukee). The concert, titled “Around the World – A Festival of Dances,” is part of the orchestra’s popular Pajama Jamborees series and marks the final concert of the season.
The Pajama Jamborees are free, one-hour pops concerts designed especially for children and families. These engaging performances combine narration and vibrant orchestral music to tell stories, showcase the orchestra’s unique colors, and invite audiences to participate in the musical experience.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the concert runs from 7:00–8:00 PM. No tickets or reservations are required, making it easy for families to attend. Guests are encouraged to come dressed comfortably; pajamas, teddy bears, and blankets are welcome. The venue offers open floor seating in front of the orchestra for children and families, along with traditional seating in the rear of the hall.
This spring’s Pajama Jamboree program celebrates dance-inspired music from around the world. Audiences will enjoy selections ranging from the elegance of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty to the energetic rhythms of Aaron Copland’s Hoe-Down. In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, young audience members will even have the opportunity to conduct the orchestra during John Philip Sousa’s patriotic favorite, The Stars and Stripes Forever.
Perfect for children in K4 through fifth grade, Pajama Jamboree concerts introduce young listeners to the joy of live orchestral music in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The performances encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love of music that can last a lifetime.
“Around the World – A Festival of Dances” promises an evening filled with rhythm, energy, and imagination as Festival City Symphony brings the stage to life for families across the Milwaukee community. As the final concert of the orchestra’s 2025–2026 season, the performance offers a joyful and memorable conclusion to a year of music.
