Festival City Symphony Announces 2026–2027 Season Featuring Classical Masterpieces, Celebrated Soloists, and Free Family Concerts
MILWAUKEE, WI (August 4, 2026) – Festival City Symphony has announced its 2026–2027 concert season, featuring seven free performances that celebrate beloved orchestral masterworks, influential American composers, and engaging musical experiences for audiences of all ages.
The season includes four Saturday Classics performances at the Bradley Symphony Center and three Pajama Jamboree family concerts at the Bradley Pavilion in the Marcus Performing Arts Center.
“Our 2026-2027 season offers something for everyone including iconic works by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, and Sibelius,” said Mary Pat Michels, FCS Viola, Music Librarian, and Operations Assistant. “However, I most excited about our March Concert: American Mosaic which features works by four American Women composers. We look forward to welcoming longtime patrons and first-time concertgoers to our Classical concert series as well as our three Pajama Jamboree concerts.”

- October 24, 2026 – River, Sea, and Symphony, featuring The Moldau, Four Sea Interludes, and Sibelius’s Symphony No. 1
- January 30, 2027 – Grace and Grandeur, featuring Haydn’s La Lamentatione, Mozart’s “Turkish” Violin Concerto with returning guest violinist Clark Snavely, and Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony
- March 6, 2027 – American Mosaic, featuring music by Amy Beach, Jennifer Higdon, Joan Tower, and Florence Price
- April 17, 2027 – Heroic Visions, featuring Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3 and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 6
2026–2027 Pajama Jamboree Series
Bradley Pavilion at the Marcus Performing Arts Center | Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
- October 28, 2026 – Halloween Harmonies, featuring spooky orchestral favorites from Harry Potter, Ghostbusters, Coco, and more
- December 2, 2026 – Jingle Bell Jamboree, a festive holiday celebration with seasonal favorites and audience sing-alongs
- April 28, 2027 – A Springtime Adventure, featuring music inspired by spring and a special appearance by Frogwater
Festival City Symphony continues its commitment to making live orchestral music accessible through free performances. Saturday Classics concerts are free to attend with donations gratefully accepted (suggested $15 for adults and $5 for children, students, and seniors), while Pajama Jamboree concerts are free with no reservations required.
