DPW Suspends Garbage, Recycling Collection Due To Weather

pdate: Out of an abundance of caution and protection of our staff health and safety, due to cold and wind chill temperatures, Sanitation Services will be called off today. Staff will work to assure all scheduled services are caught up by the end of the week.

Due to extreme and dangerous cold weather conditions today, services such as garbage and recycle collections, bulky pick up, etc. may be delayed. Department of Public Works crews are currently on a standby until temperatures increase. Staff will work Saturday if needed to catch up so that all collections will be serviced this week.
