MAM After Dark Makes a Vibrant Return in 2025
Milwaukee, we heard you. We’re bringing MAM After Dark back and better than before with fan-favorite themes, new activations, and dynamic performances!
MILWAUKEE, WI—November 12, 2024—MAM After Dark returns to the Milwaukee Art Museum with a series of after-hours events featuring live music and immersive activations—all to the familiar, creative themes attendees know and love. The Museum will host MAM After Dark on select Fridays, 7–11 p.m., transforming its space into Milwaukee’s artiest party and place to be for a late night with friends.
Decked out with a unique theme, the Museum will turn into a vibrant hub of art, music, and nightlife at MAM After Dark. Under the illuminated wings of the Burke Brise Soleil, each event includes performances from rising or established local talent and artful activations, bringing together creatives and art lovers for an unforgettable evening.
The series kicks off with MAM After Dark: Salsa Night on Friday, January 24, with dance performances and instruction by Mezclando Milwaukee, live music by flamenco guitarist Evan Christian and salsa band Orquesta Ayala, and more. The Museum’s collection and exhibition galleries will be open 7–10:30 p.m., during which time guests can venture into the galleries on a scavenger hunt to discover art made by Hispanic and Latinx artists. Light bites will be served at a chips and salsa bar in the Quadracci Pavilion, and additional festive food and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar in Windhover Hall and Museum Café.
Museum Members will enjoy discounted tickets, an exclusive MAM After Dark signature beverage, and access to the Member lounge—elevating the evening’s experience. Those who are not yet Members are encouraged to join to receive these festive benefits. Both Member and general admission tickets are available in advance, beginning today through January 24, 2025, or until they are sold out.
The first events in the series bring back fan-favorite themes. Following on the heels of MAM After Dark: Salsa Night will be MAM After Dark: New York Nights on Friday, February 21, and MAM After Dark: March Masquerade on Friday, March 21.
