Supervisors Capriolo and Bielinski to Host Community Event on Health Services and Budget Priorities this Saturday
MILWAUKEE – Supervisors Sky Z. Capriolo and Justin Bielinski invite residents to a community event at Ope! Brewing Company on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will address critical public health and budget issues, featuring demonstrations on opioid overdose treatments, including Narcan distribution, and an updated CPR overview presented by the Milwaukee County EMS team.
“I strongly encourage our residents to attend this important event and engage directly with local leaders about pressing community issues and the upcoming 2025 budget,” said Supervisor Capriolo. “This is an invaluable opportunity for community members to voice their opinions on budget priorities, share concerns, and learn about essential health services. Together, we can foster a stronger and healthier community.”
“We are eager to hear from our residents. Their perspectives will be crucial in shaping a budget that addresses our community’s needs and tackles ongoing challenges. This collaborative event is a chance for everyone to contribute to our shared vision for a better Milwaukee County,” added Supervisor Bielinski.
In addition to presenting on Narcan and current CPR techniques, Supervisors Capriolo and Bielinski will discuss key elements of the proposed 2025 budget and encourage residents to participate in the decision-making process.
