Grand Opening of Sheridan Park Pavilion to be Held Saturday
Event Will Also Include Annual Meeting of Sheridan Park Friends
The Sheridan Park Friends will host their annual meeting on Saturday, January 17 starting at 9:30 a.m., featuring the grand opening of the newly remodeled Sheridan Park pavilion. The newly remodeled pavilion was recently completed, and the annual meeting will be the first use for the remodeled facility.
Parks Director John Dargle, along with Parks Department staff, will be available to discuss future events in our parks. The Friends will also share some exciting plans for the park in the coming year.
The meeting is open to the public and anyone interested in becoming involved with the Sheridan Park Friends. The open house will give anyone that is interested an opportunity to see the results of the summer-long project, which included removing the old skate storage room and enlarging the meeting room. The work included installation of new rest rooms and the addition of a kitchenette.
Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
