This panel discussion is a programming event of the “Presence and Persistence: Visions of American Blackness” exhibition at MIAD’s Frederick Layton Gallery, on view Jan. 17 – Mar. 12, 2022. Admission is free.

The panel discussion features three of the exhibition’s artists – Sandra Bridges, Chrystal Denise Gillon and Jerry Jordan – and MIAD faculty member Brad Bernard. Moderated by Jody Alexander, Milwaukee Art Museum’s African American Art Alliance. A reception will follow the discussion.
