Police investigating rash of broken car windows/vehicle damage cases

By - May 10th, 2021 03:10 pm

Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs is asking the public for help in solving a recent rash of cases where car windows have been broken out and vehicles damaged across four city neighborhoods.

The perpetrators have caused the damage to dozens of parked vehicles during the overnight hours, and have struck in the Brewer’s Hill, Harambee, Halyard Park, and Riverwest neighborhoods.

Alderwoman Coggs, whose 6th Aldermanic District includes all or a portion of these neighborhoods, she represents – said the suspects need to be brought to justice. “If you or a neighbor has any information or if you have surveillance footage that may help Milwaukee Police, please come forward and help solve this spree before it can continue,” she said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Dana Rebrodrebro@milwaukee.gov Milwaukee Police immediately at (414) 935-7360 or Crime Stoppers at (414) 224-Tips or P3 Tips App for a cash reward.

Anyone not comfortable with sharing video or photos with MPD can email those files to Alderwoman Coggs at mcoggs@milwaukee.gov.
