Special Election for County Treasurer
Milwaukee County Clerk Joe Czarnezki announced that, in accordance with a resolution adopted by the Milwaukee County Board, the Milwaukee County Election Commission has ordered a special election to fill the vacancy in the office of County Treasurer created by the resignation of Daniel Diliberti.
Milwaukee County Clerk Joe Czarnezki announced that, in accordance with a resolution adopted by the Milwaukee County Board, the Milwaukee County Election Commission has ordered a special election to fill the vacancy in the office of County Treasurer created by the resignation of Daniel Diliberti. The special election will be held in conjunction with the regular fall election, with the primary election on August12, 2014 and the general election on November 4. The first day for candidates for County Treasurer to circulate nomination papers is May 12, 2014. The deadline for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m. on June 2, 2014. Interested candidates should contact the Milwaukee County Election Commission at 414-278-4060 for more information. A copy of the special election order is attached.
