Statement: Meeting with Gov. Evers, Legislative Leaders
[Madison, WI] — Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau) released the following statement after a teleconference with Governor Evers and legislative leaders concerning the state’s response to the coronavirus.
“It was a productive discussion and will be the first of many in the coming weeks. During the call, we agreed to commence daily conversations. It’s clear we all want to do what’s best for our citizens and businesses during these unprecedented and demanding times.”
Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau) represents the 13th Senate District, which covers portions of Dodge, Jefferson, Waukesha, Washington, Dane, and Columbia counties.
