MCSO Arrest of Driver for Reckless Endangering Safety

The driver of the fleeing vehicle, James L. Jackson, suffered minor injuries and was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment.

Milwaukee, WI – (July 24, 2019) On July 23rd, 2019, at approximately 7:47 p.m., Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for reckless driving in the area of N. Teutonia Ave. and W. Capitol Dr.  The driver refused to stop and was pursued to the intersection of N. 35th St. and W. Clarke St. where the vehicle struck another vehicle and stopped.

The driver of the fleeing vehicle, James L. Jackson, suffered minor injuries and was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported. Jackson was subsequently arrested for Fleeing / Eluding and 1st Degree Reckless Endangering Safety. Jackson is also being held on a misdemeanor warrant from the Department of Corrections.

Squad video will not be released regarding this incident until charges are issued. There are no further details at this time.
