Remembering Bill Haberman
Our hearts are with Bill's wife Carmen, their family, and the innumerable Milwaukeeans that Bill impacted throughout his life.
We are deeply saddened by the news of Bill Haberman‘s passing. Bill’s impact on Milwaukee Film was beyond extraordinary and cannot be overstated. As one of our beloved founders, he was instrumental in steering our organization toward a path to success. He provided countless hours of volunteer leadership, helping us quickly gain a firm foothold among arts nonprofits in our community and empowering us to expand our reach and our programming year after year. Our strong youth education programs, having now served over 50,000 students, are directly tied to Bill’s fierce advocacy and passion for youth arts education.
We’ll never forget Bill’s most enduring piece of advice: He insisted that as an arts and film organization, we must have fun. Milwaukee Film has a bright and long future ahead of us, and we know that Bill’s positive and philanthropic spirit will resonate through all we do for generations to come.
Our hearts are with Bill’s wife Carmen, their family, and the innumerable Milwaukeeans that Bill impacted throughout his life.
