Rep. Robyn Vining Cheers The People’s Budget
“From the beginning of his term, Governor Evers has made it clear he is listening to the people of Wisconsin."
Tonight, Governor Tony Evers gave his Budget Address regarding the 2019-2021 biennial budget. Representative Robyn Vining (D-Wauwatosa) issued the following statement regarding the budget proposal release:
“From the beginning of his term, Governor Evers has made it clear he is listening to the people of Wisconsin. Tonight, he announced the People’s Budget – a budget by the people and for the people. In this proposed budget, Gov. Evers provides comprehensive and common sense solutions to the problems we face in Wisconsin.”
“The People’s Budget provides a robust investment in K-12 education, establishes fair redistricting reform, gives tax relief to middle class families, and promotes the health of women and their babies. This budget reflects what’s important to Wisconsinites – the shared values that will move our state forward.”
“I’m excited to discuss the proposed budget with my constituents in accessible listening sessions around the 14th district, and how the budget will work for them, as I believe it will. We are building a Wisconsin that works for everyone, as we move forward together.”
