Milwaukee Film’s Collaborative Cinema

Ever wonder what it takes to bring an idea from paper to the silver screen? Milwaukee Film’s Collaborative Cinema project shows high school students, college students and emerging film professionals how to do just that.

This year’s production, The Vampire Formerly Known as Dracula, was written by Milwaukee High School for the Arts freshman Ian Walls (seen in the video wearing a bright green shirt) and directed by recent MATC graduate Nathaniel Schardin (seen in the video wearing a black cap, the word “director” on it). After attending several workshops hosted by Collaborative Cinema, they are supplied with a professional crew and equipment to bring their vision to fruition.
