Captain Hook’s Fish and Chicken Planned For Wisconsin Avenue
Fish and chicken restaurant will specialize in fried seafood.
A new fish and chicken joint is coming to Wisconsin Avenue.
Captain Hook’s Fish and Chicken is slated to open at 2532 W. Wisconsin Ave. One of the owners, Maher Ayad, told Urban Milwaukee that the restaurant will be take-out only.
He emphasized that the restaurant will only use fresh ingredients for its fish and chicken.
The restaurant will sell several kinds of fried catfish, perch, salmon, tilapia and shrimp. For chicken it will sell fried chicken buckets and wings. The restaurant will offer whole wings or party wings, the latter being the traditional bar wings served with the drumsticks and wings separated. Captain Hook’s will offer serving sizes for their chicken up to 100 wings.
The restaurant, according to a license request, is expected to operate seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Ayad and Oudeh are currently remodeling the space and building out their nautical concept at W. Wisconsin Ave. The location was most recently previously a Golden Fish and Chicken restaurant.
The plan is to open the restaurant by mid-June.

“One of the owner’s”?
Should be “owners”.. Not possessive or contraction.
