Miss our first Milwaukee Marathon giveaway? Here is another chance to run for free, this time for the shorter race. Yes, Urban Milwaukee is stocked with 5k marathon passes that we’d love to share with you. The Milwaukee Marathon is returning on Saturday, April 6th for another fun day of running through and by some of the best sights Milwaukee has to offer. This year’s race has a new date and new ownership committed to making it the premier running event in the region. Thousands of runners will span three different distances, with all races starting and finishing at the Bucks’ brand-new Live Block entertainment complex, and winding through town to take in Lake Park, the lakefront, Downtown, the West Side, Washington Park and many great urban areas.
This year’s marathon will include ample parking and an awesome after-party to celebrate your run. In addition to the improved location and experience, registration for the Milwaukee Marathon includes a lot of great stuff. Runners will get a Milwaukee Marathon quarter-zip fleece, a high-quality technical running shirt, commemorative medal, and if you’re 21+, a beer during the after-party. And if you’re an Urban Milwaukee member, it’s all free: you can run a 5k, and receive all these extras, on us.
