Where do you work and what makes your role awesome?

I work at Zywave as a Talent Recruiter. My favorite part about my job is seeing the impact my hires have within the company. I enjoy building and maintaining relationships to assist others achieve their career goals. I take pride in seeing the advancement of so many talented individuals.

What do you love most about Milwaukee?

Summers in Milwaukee are the best. There is always something to do ranging from: festivals, kayaking on the river, brewery tours, Bradford beach, Brewers games, outdoor patios, etc.

What is one word that you would use to describe Milwaukee?

Beer

If you could create one thing in Milwaukee, what would it be?

I really enjoy the atmosphere at UW- Madison’s Union Terrace. I would love to see something similar built off of Lake Michigan to help gather the community in order to enjoy Milwaukee’s natural beauty.

What local restaurant is at the top of your list?

It’s a tie between Smoke Shack and Honeypie Cafe. My boyfriend and I try to make it to Smoke Shack once a month. We are a fan of the atmosphere, bbq and drinks. As a huge breakfast fan, I thoroughly enjoy Honeypie’s variety and huge portions. Their pies are delicious!

What is your favorite Milwaukee tradition?

Summerfest.

What does your ideal Milwaukee weekend look like?

Walks to the lakefront, brunch, outdoor patios and board games.

What neighborhood do you live in and why do you love it?

I live in the Brewers’ Hill neighborhood. It’s a great spot since it tends to be on the quiet side. The Riverwalk is a perfect place to take a stroll and soak in the city view. I’m also within walking distance of Lakefront Brewery, Beerline Cafe and Wolf Beach. I love to support these local businesses!
