The Fremont Troll
Located under the George Washington Memorial Bridge (Aurora Avenue), the Fremont Troll is a truly unique piece of public art north of downtown Seattle (Fremont neighborhood is loaded with public art). It was installed in 1990. Kids can climb on the 18-foot tall sculpture and the troll has in his hand an actual Volkswagon Beetle car. Photo taken August 5th, 2014 by Jeramey Jannene.
