St. Patrick’s Day Parade

From the Sheriff to Irish dancers, it was all smiles in the parade.

Westown was covered in green Saturday as the 48th annual Shamrock Club of Wisconsin’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade took place. People of all ages lined the streets, dressed in the customary green, to watch almost 140 different floats, politicians, bands and more march past. The weather wasn’t perfect, but given how brutally cold it has been all winter it felt pretty warm (no doubt helped on by the amount of pre-event drinking that takes place at neighborhood establishments).
