Historic Milwaukee’s Fans Convene

This past Thursday night Historic Milwaukee Inc. held its annual Remarkable Milwaukee event to raise funds for the organization and honor those who support Milwaukee’s preservation movement.  On this night, a large crowd came out to honor historian John Gurda and developer Kendall Bruenig for their contributions to historic preservation. Gurda has spent his life retelling the stories of Milwaukee’s past, while Bruenig is slowly and painstakingly redeveloping a bit of Milwaukee’s past, The Pritzlaff Building where the event was held.
