TCD’s 2013 Halloween Guide
From spooky adventures and costume parties to family-friendly fare, TCD has your list for what events to haunt this Halloween season.
OFF THE HAUNTED PATH…
This haunt has been around for almost four decades, which means they have plenty of scare tactics under their belt. Make your way through this house of horror in which every room is uniquely created to provoke every possible fear.
- Where: 2024 N. 15th St., Sheboygan
- When: Every Friday & Saturday from Oct. 4-Nov. 2
- Fridays & Saturdays from 7–10 p.m.
- Matinee Oct. 26, 2–4 p.m.
- Additional dates: Oct. 17, 24, 30, & 31 from 7–10 p.m.
Halloween Dinner Theater: Wake Not the Dead
Begin the evening with a delicious harvest-themed dinner, followed by a lamp-lit stroll to a live performance in which you’ll witness live acts of nightmarish tales by the likes of Poe, Stoker, and Doyle.

- When: Friday-Sunday, Oct. 11–13
- Friday at 7 p.m.
- Saturday 5 and 8 p.m.
- Sunday 5 p.m.
- Additional days Oct. 18–20 and Oct. 25–27
Step into a hearse and take a strange ride into the darkness of the haunted woods. Be careful not to disturb the walking dead while you’re there.
- Where: 6831 Big Bend Rd. (Hwy. 164), Waterford
- When: Every Friday and Saturday in October, 7–11 p.m.
This small, New England-style village might be quaint and welcoming during the day, but it is filled with historical haunts at every corner. Take this two-hour long ghost walk to find out what sorts of unearthly creatures live and lurk in this small town.
- Where: Wisconsin Chair Company, 218 E. Main Street, Port Washington
- When: Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26 at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:45, 9:15 & 9:45 p.m.
There’s nothing like a haunted house in a small, quaint town to make you and your friends feel like you’ve been transported into the middle of a real-life horror movie. Enter at your own risk and see what kind of madness awaits you.
- Where: 1912 Columbus St., Two Rivers
- When: Every Friday and Saturday in October from 7:15 p.m.–midnight; Sept. 27–28 and Nov. 1–2 from 7:15–11 p.m.
This old warehouse was built atop an ancient burial ground. The souls started to cause trouble for many of the factory workers during renovations. The dirt floor was left unfinished to prevent the disturbance of any more buried souls.
- Where: 500 N. Lake St., Neenah
- When: Every Friday & Saturday from Sept. 28–Nov. 2
- Friday–Saturday from 7–11:30 p.m.
- Sundays Oct. 13 and Oct.20 from 7–10 p.m.
- Oct. 17, 23, 24, 31 from 7–10 p.m.
