Haunted by its History

Built in 1890, the White House is Milwaukee's second oldest tavern, and just perhaps, one of its most haunted.

As its full name suggests, the Historic White House Tavern at 2900 South Kinnickinnic Avenue in Bay View has a storied past. Its building dates to 1890, and the bar boasts photos going all the way back to the turn of the last century. Then there’s the story of a ghost from many decades past, which emerges in this sound slide on the tavern:

    Sound slide? Uunfortunately I can’t see anything on my iPad and I don’t use anything else at home.
