Each August since its inception, Bronzeville Week has gained momentum and has attracted noticeably larger crowds to a series of performances and events.
The death of Mr. Smith, 23, sparked civil unrest and prompted an emergency curfew order for those under age 18.
Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs invites the public to see what the event’s final two days have in store.
