World View Art Center Presents Their Third Pop-Up Art Exhibition “Caveat Emptor”
Complementing the exhibition will be music, a lite buffet and silent auction.
(Milwaukee, WI (10/9/19) – World View Art Center (worldviewartcenter.org), a 501c3 nonprofit corporation, will be presenting their third pop-up art exhibition on Thursday October 17th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. The exhibition, entitled “Caveat Emptor” will take place at Inspired Artisans, 2210 W. Clybourn St. Staged in a re-purposed warehouse, the show will feature prints and multiples from the collection of Dr. Cory Brandt. This collection was amassed between 2013-2015 via televised auctions and includes works potentially attributable to Picasso, Audubon, Dali, Miro and other notable artists.
“CAVEAT EMPTOR” raises questions of Authenticity and Provenance”, remarks Worldview’s Founding Director, Erik Eide. “With this exhibition we are continuing our journey toward the goal of presenting engaging exhibitions. Worldview is close to establishing a permanent location on the near West Side of Milwaukee which which will enable us to offer youth and adult art classes as well as quarterly exhibitions”.
World View Art Center’s pop-up art exhibition is sponsored by Inspired Artisans and The Five O’Clock Steakhouse. World View Art Center’s vision is to engage Milwaukee’s Near West Side in the visual arts as a vehicle for empowerment and change. World View Art Center’s mission is to connect creativity and community in an inspiring environment of art education, exhibitions and studio space.
